Hand-harvested late October, best bunches dried 30 days (reducing liquid 40%), then 2-week fermentation, 12 months French oak, 6 months bottle aging. Intense ruby-red with aromas of carob, raisins, black pepper, tobacco, and cocoa. The palate is warm, enveloping, and velvety with long structured finish. Limited production of approximately 7,000 numbered bottles annually. Produced only in exceptional vintages.
